Welcome to DAV Chapter 55! We are a community dedicated to empowering veterans and their families by ensuring they receive the benefits and support they deserve. How to Join

  1. Eligibility:
    • Any service member who was not dishonorably discharged and sustained an injury or illness during service is eligible.
  2. Application Process:
    • Online: Complete the online application.
    • Mail: Download and mail the form to: Disabled American Veterans, Attn: Membership Dept, PO Box 145550, Cincinnati, OH 45250.
  3. Joining the DAV Auxiliary:
    • The DAV Auxiliary is for family members and supporters of veterans. Fill out the online application or mail it to: DAV Auxiliary National Headquarters, 860 Dolwick Drive, Erlanger, KY 41018.
  4. Membership Dues:
    • Life membership is $325, and there are flexible payment options. Veterans aged 80 or older can join for free. Auxiliary dues vary.
    • Assistance: We have funding opportunities available for veterans or supporters facing financial hardship who want to join.
  5. Application Tips:
    • List “Kentucky” as your department, “55 – Madison County #55” as your chapter, and Kris Morlen as your recruiter. Email contact@dav55.org to get added to chapter communications.
  6. Contact:
